Krista works on her questions for the Indigo Girls. #wildgoosefestival

If you’ve ever wondered what Krista Tippett’s hands look like, wonder no longer.
With radio personalities, who are literally disembodied, the first thing that you happen upon are their faces, most likely on the station’s website (well, except my wife, who refuses to even countenance looking at a picture of Robert Siegel.) The first time I saw Pipedreams' Michael Barone at an AGO event, he introduced himself to the assembled by saying, “Good afternoon. I'm Michael Barone, and I didn't think you looked like that, either.”
And it’s either completely surprising, or not at all, to see her foot tucked neatly under her, just behind her left hand in the picture, giving an air of relaxation, an island of concentration in the busy room around her.
Not to reduce her to an amalgam of parts, obviously.
